Joe Parry

Joe has worked on visualization and graphics systems for intelligence work for the last thirteen years. During that time he has done software development, design, systems architecture and more experimental research projects. He has worked with the intelligence communities of the UK, US and other countries.

His recent professional interests include social network analysis and web-based visualisation systems. In 2011 he founded Cambridge Intelligence which is producing what he hopes will be part of a new wave of investigation software. Prior to this he was Head of Research at i2 Inc, where he defined the research direction for the company and built relationships with the global academic visualisation and social network analysis communities.

Joe was awarded a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, a MSc in Computer Science from Imperial College London, and a PhD in Cosmology and General Relativity from the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Stephen Hawking's research group.
