John Darling
John's interests lie in the molecular cell biology of human malignant brain tumours, with special reference to trying to elucidate the molecular mechanisms that cause these tumours to develop in the first place and why they are so resistant to therapy.
His interests include the development and testing of novel therapeutics, modulating chemosensitivity using gene therapy approaches and identifying and applying genetic and cell biological markers to predict therapeutic response and prognosis in patients with malignant brain tumours.
