Sadie Creese

Professor Sadie Creese is Director of e-Security and Head of the WMG Digital Programme at the International Digital Laboratory at the University of Warwick.

Her group is engaged in a wide range of cyber security research, including risk management and information assurance practice, tangibility of risk in cyberspace, threat and vulnerability modelling and intelligence, situational awareness and information provenance, data protection, security in adaptive dynamic networks and clouds, malware propagation in hybrid networks, and privacy.

She has consolidated experience in IT security, privacy and trust issues in complex business and operational environments and was selected for a 2009 IBM Faculty Award in recognition of her research in the area of data protection. She serves on the RCUK Global Uncertainties Strategic Advisory Group, the International Systems Security Association’s Steering Committee for the UK chapter and the UK Cyber Security KTN Steering Committee. She joined Warwick from QinetiQ, where she most recently served as Director of Strategic Programmes for QinetiQ’s Trusted Information Management Division.
