Tony Davis
Tony Davis is the CEO of MedilinkWM.
Tony launched MedilinkWM in 2003 to promote the Life Science industry and enhance market opportunities for the benefit of companies and the UK economy. Prior to joining the organisation, Tony established himself as an expert developing sustainable strategic alliances in non-profit agencies, including the ISE. Tony also managed large corporations, ran European Projects for Economic Development departments focusing on disability and healthcare, and developed programmes for mental health organisations.
Tony was appointed the first chair of MedilinkUK in 2005, and now holds the post for a second 12-month tenure.
As CEO of MedilinkWM and Chair of MedilinkUK, Tony’s primary aim is to promote industry to government organisations. His work with the Department of Health, the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, and The Office of Life Sciences has secured his position around the table during SME Competitiveness and UK plc discussions.
Providing guidance and market-specific advice, Tony sits on the Board for MidTECH, the West Midlands NHS Innovations Hub; the Board for the new Health Innovation and Education Clusters (HIEC) group at Birmingham University; and the Ministerial Medical Technology Steering Group (MMTSG).
