Alan Davies
Alan was appointed to EMEA Medical Affairs, GE Healthcare, in 2006. As Chief Medical Officer, he is particularly interested in technology as it applies to healthcare delivery and the challenges the future holds for healthcare across the world.
He has over 25 years drug and device development experience obtained both as an investigator and as a Pharmaceutical Physician and has written and lectured widely on drug and device development.
Alan graduated from London University, and worked as a University Lecturer in the Medical Schools of Adelaide, Australia; Manchester and Bristol, United Kingdom before joining Novo as a Clinical Research Director in 1985.
Subsequently he was Head of Clinical Research for Fujisawa, based in Munich; General Manager Fujisawa UK and European Medical Director at Kendle, a global Clinical Research Organisation for over 10 years.
