Francesco is a SME and Start- Up Advisor, and an accomplished leader with 11-year experience in designing, implementing and monitoring innovative and successful cross-disciplinary projects in Italy, U.S., Brazil and U.K., across a wide variety of industries including Medical Devices, Pump Manufacturing, Industrial Machines, Research, Education and Public Sector.

With a strong interest in technology transfer and commercialisation, he is an expert in R&D and innovation - from ideation to market test, ideated and developed research tools for quality and standards improvements in medical diagnostics and won research grants involving multisite collaborations in the field of Medical Devices. Awarded for his oral presentations at international events, he also authored several articles on international journals. Additionally, he designed and implemented development programs delivered to a wide range of stakeholders.

Francesco offers the ideal mix of technical expertise (research, engineering and medical devices) and business exposure to assess the commercial feasibility of a new idea/product/scientific breakthrough. This is achieved through the analysis of a company’s external environment (e.g. market size and forces, industry structure, competitors’ offer) and core competences (e.g. technology, cost structure, company culture).
