Gavin is organising events with Science Capital, and previously ran events that featured in The Information Daily. He works in Birmingham for a large law firm as a Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst. Gavin has 5 years experience of analysing, reporting & cleansing databases and enjoys providing insights from data.
Outside of work Gavin has a keen interest in Birmingham tech communities, Internet based Startups and Smart City ideas. In an effort to boost community interaction, creativity and potentially seed new business ideas Gavin founded a Hackathon event in Birmingham themed around Smart City & Open Data agendas.
