Gordon McKenzie
Gordon McKenzie is a co-Founder and Director of Clinical Development at Michelson Diagnostics Ltd. MDL is a start-up company founded in 2006 with five ex-employees of Sira, and focuses on bringing novel Optical Coherence Tomography instrumentation to clinical and research markets.
Gordon has ten years experience in the field of biomedical optics, and a PhD from the University of Warwick on the interaction of laser light with tissue.
He has established an extensive network of senior clinical and health sector contacts, and is an expert at working in the interface between clinicians and technologists.
Gordon's roles include managing the clinical trials process showing the efficacy of high resolution Optical Coherence Tomography in disease management.
