Andrew MacKenzie

Andrew is a researcher and consultant working at the intersection of policy, web media and innovation. He is a member of the steering group for the West Midlands Open Data Forum and a co-Founder of Open Mercia, the open data user group for the West Midlands. He was previously a member of the Cabinet Office Open Data User Group.

Andrew taught at Coventry University, giving modules for the undergraduate Multimedia BA degree and postgraduate Media Production MA. He was also involved in management of EU-funded technology development projects as a co-ordinator.

Andrew is currently working on a documentary on Open Data, interviewing key people in the open data world including developers, policy makers and activists.
